The story behind the Image....Real Destination Wedding Story

The story behind the photo:

The best place for alone time at your destination wedding.
Sweetheart Table at Destination Wedding

With so much excitement, stress and anxiety around your wedding…oftentimes it leaves little room to sit back and enjoy the day with your new spouse. One of my favorite things to suggest is a sweetheart table. It might sound silly, to want to sit away from your guests, but this is a special moment where the two of you can sit, relax, enjoy and savor the party happening all around you.

This was exactly the case with Brittany and David. While helping them plan their destination wedding, we started talking about their reception. I had mentioned the idea of a sweetheart table to them, and initially they told me they wanted to sit with their guests. I explained that this might be the only moment they have alone, and it is an amazing opportunity to sit back and relax. Brittany, initially reluctant to leave her friends and family, felt a flicker of excitement at the prospect of a brief, intimate moment with David. He, too, seemed drawn to the idea

Fast forward to the day of their wedding. Brittany had an amazing tribe of people, who helped her get ready for her big day. Same for David. Neither had a second to themselves, but they were happy to celebrate with friends. As the ceremony neared, they were excited to see each other.  Surrounded by family and friends, they tied the knot and rushed off to pictures.

When the time finally came for the two of them to sit and relax during dinner, they both agreed. A sweetheart table was the perfect place for them to sit, relax and enjoy their wedding. Over candlelight, their laughter mingled with the soft clink of glasses. They relived the vows whispered before the ocean, the tears of joy shed by their loved ones, and the intoxicating joy of their first dance as husband and wife. This quiet space, amidst the revelry, became their sanctuary, a memory they'd treasure forever.

They later told me that although they didn’t love the idea at first, their first dinner together, alone, as husband and wife was one of their favorite memories.
